I've been bit by the SWAK bug!

I think you mean that you have been bitten by the Swiss Army Knife (SAK) bug, not the Swedish Army Knife bug (SWAK) , at least if I understand my acronyms. ;) Of course there is no guarantee that I am correct. :D

There are a lot of fans of the SWAK too! It is a very inexpensive fixed blade.

Here is a description from Smoky Mountain Knife Works. I don't think I can post a direct link, but you can find it easily with the number.

It certainly is a good using knife for the money. Sheath although modest, has decent retention. I use it occasionally. Its last "outing" was on a Brownie (Girl Scout) camping trip. I laid it around while we were preparing food, in case any adult wanted to cut something. Its last use there was someone using it to stir some black beans (sheath on!!! :) )

There is a similar blue handled version, same knife I think, but not a SWAK. :p

ROFL! I never knew. I thought SWAK and SAK were both used interchangably. Oh well.

I never knew the swedes had an army! lol.

I consider my SAK a fancy corkscrew. Although if no corkscrew is around I'll just push in the cork. That just means you have to finish the whole bottel!
