Looks very nice, but I think I would have prefered a regular guard on this one.

Looks great - I like the wood, but as Keith I'd prefer a regular guard. It still is a fine knife though.

Nice knife! I really like the handle, the spacer, and the blade shape. I think with a longer guard that knife would be almost perfect

I`ve got the first forging session of the hatchet head done!!! and man let me tell you it was a pile of work to take a 1 3/16 rod and turn it into a piece 2 1/4" x 4" x 3/4"! LOTS of bumping! I`ll get you a pic of where it`s at soon.
