I've been called a racist Indian hater because of my weapon website (by a white guy!)

Dear Ruel,

I always appreciated your post on SWI and here and the mails you sent me. Just ignore him. You see a guy on SW who happened to be a novice collector tried toteach me about collecting!!! Well fair enough we should just point out and let the matter rest. Just ignore this guy, and remember, I appreciate you and I am not the only one.

Regards,

Manoucher

:
Kinda funny story about what makes up an Indin Family.

A man, his wife, two kids, several dogs and an anthropologist.

There are a lot of these self appointed yonegis who like to think they know all about us ndns and our problems and what should be done to help us.
The guy actually has a pretty nice website except he really stepped acoss the line on this.
And that's the problem with the yonegis who put up these kinds of websites.
They really haven't a clue from wherefore they speak!!!!

I know a lot of people who continually search the web looking for info on ndns and our ceremonies thinking what they read is real.
What they really don't understand is that a real ndn wouldn't think of putting something sacred that belongs to their tribe online.
And that boils down to the simple fact that the things one might read about ndns and supposedly put up by ndns is just a bunch of poopoo.

The Great Mystery gave everyone two eyes, two ears, two nostrils and one mouth. Many of the Elders say that means we should see, hear and smell twice as much as we talk.

Yvsa.

"VEGETARIAN".............
Indin word for lousy hunter.

On rethinking the matter, it's been a bad day in Black Rock. Put me down as agin the whole shebang of ya jest fer plain cussedness.

Sorry to get back in so late . . . just got back from moving a friend to NJ and my shoulders are feeling every one of those cussed three flights of stairs.

AC . . . Al Carroll? Hey, WE'S CUZINS!

But I reckon you're pretty far out from the South Carolina Carroll's.

And I don't think I've got a drop of Cherokee, but I think my mom mentioned a Choctaw in the woodpile somewhere.

I think Yvsa makes a good point about the anthropologists and the wannabes (and the charlatans).
Makes me wonder: is there a collection online put together by indins, with a theme like "Things other people really oughta know about [ndn culture, religion, how to make bone flutes] if they're so curious"?

I wonder if the same site would have "Things people think they know about indins that actually come from TV".

Sorry about your friend BTW. Gotta admire a guy like that.
