Ive been converted to spydieanity!!

I prob have 30 or so Spydies! Only one I didnt really like was the Manix! It just seemed big and awkward, didnt like the lock! Gayle Bradley all the way! I still think for the money the Gayle is def one of the best buys out there!! Solid knife! Excellent quality!! Welcome to Spydieworld!!

Just go to the spyderco website and compare their specs such as blade length and handle length. Sorry, i sold my tenacious 3 months ago so i cant provide any pics. But if i remember correctly, the blade length is roughly the same as manix2. But the handle of the manix2 seemed beefier.

The Tenacious got me hooked too! Now I'm up to a Ladybug, Delica Wave and Sage 1!

The Tenacious is a good knife for the money, no doubt of that. But when you are ready to move up to a great Spyderco, you will need the Military, Police3, Paramilitary2 or Manix2. Just to start your Spydie collection. :D

I'm pretty much the opposite. The Manix 2 is the only knife of theirs that I really DO like.

I assume you are talking about the Manix 2. I have both knives and I prefer the Manix. I have one of the first run GB with the harder M4 and it is amazing steel. Sharpens easy and holds a great razor edge. The carbon fiber is pretty nice too bit I just don't like the design as much and I don't like liner locks much. I use the GB a couple times a day to chop stuff because it holds an edge so well and I have a nice callous on my index finger from the jimping on the back of the blade. But I don't like it enough to carry it around however my S90V Manix is with me just about everyday. I just like it better. Probably why I have 15 of them. I bought a pair of each sprint run until they started making so many and it got too expensive. One day I will probably sell off the duplicates since I don't have all of them.

Different strokes for different folks.

I don't have a Tenacious but I do own a Persistence and an Ambitious. I like the designs better than many higher end knives. No nonsense working knives built like tanks and I find the handle shape on these two knives to be very comfortable in use and also very pleasing to the eye.

I think it is obvious that the Spyderco team puts as much effort into designing their budget knives as they do their flagship models. Good stuff!
