Mods please close. Too many people will be throwing things in my face. Thanks.

I've been thinking you really missed the point of the read more/post less advice.

We get it; you're a punk kid and everything seems too expensive to you.

You're not even the first punk kid to notice this.

Worse things happen at sea.

I get the read more post less advice. I decided not to follow it right now. And I did say I searched around the forums and hadn't found anything, so I posted.

What makes you think I'm a punk kid? You don't know me. I posted a thread to see how and why others justify their purchases on something, so I can understand where people are coming from. Would your day be so much better if I changed the thread to "please close"?

Actually nevermind. I'll do that anyways. There are too many people like you on this forum.

Unless you're a moderator, neither you nor anyone else is in any position to tell another member how often they can post or start threads on this forum. In fact, I've never seen a moderator try to dictate how many times a member can post or start a thread.

This is a knife discussion forum. That means people are going to come here and ask questions about knives, or perhaps start a knife-related thread simply because they are bored. And there's nothing wrong with that.

If you don't like a thread, ignore it. If you don't like THIS thread, you're free to ignore it as well. No one is forcing you to read this thread, or post here. This thread isn't costing you any money or preventing you or anyone else from starting a different thread. Funny thing is, by posting in this thread you bump it right back to the top and extend it's lifespan. If you want to see a thread go away, the best thing you can do is not post in it.

If no one ever started new threads on this forum, this forum would quickly die.

And I don't know where you come from, but where I come from calling someone a "punk kid" is a very derogatory term. I don't see where the OP said or did anything in this thread to be called such a name.

Ease up Anustart, you didn't do anything wrong here. Don't let people bully you. Sometimes you just gotta ignore people and let stuff roll off your back.

Nothing personal but:
1) You're gonna be a punk kid for at least another decade.

2) Being said kid having random adult males befriend you on the web is not where you want to be.

1) What makes you think I'm a punk kid? You don't know me, again

2) He's got my back. He's rationally thinking. What's your point

You are 14 years old, man. Even if you don't think you are a punk kid, you still are. Don't get your feelings hurt about it.

My feelings aren't hurt at all. I'm wondering where you're/he's getting this judgement...

er..that's an uncomfortable comment. spooky, really. it's not like we're using real names here, he obviously knows that much. I'm pretty sure I've never seen a member driving around in the forum in a windowless van handing out candy, but one never knows. meantime, he shows up, asks a question, and he gets this kind of response? what is this, prison? You have some need to show your dominance to this kid? jesus christ.

That's a good thing. Embrace your "punk kid" title and remember that you will be called much worse throughout your young adult life.

Ah. So "worthless person" is meant to be overlooked when called that by an adult that I don't even know. Ok.

OKAY. Lets do this one time.

LISTEN UP! Thanks, killgar, and kaotikross. It takes all kinds to make these forums work. Us old guys won't last forever. Newbies are the future but it takes time for them to fit in. If you try to teach them with insults, they won't be much fun when they answer you in the same way.

Keep it cool, stay polite. AND STAY ON TOPIC. Personal remarks don't belong in knife discussion forums.

Question. As someone who owns (or at least claims to own) a Sebenza, where does that knife fit into the scheme?

Do you now feel it is not worth the money, and, if so, what changed your opinion?

Nothing wrong with changing your opinion, just curious what, for you, did it.
