I've been squirreling away money for a couple of months now(spare change jar + $5-$10 a day, small sales, etc) & I'm about 3/4 of the way there to picking this one up.
I decided on the Large Classic with the African Blackwood inlays.I really like the gold accents on this one.I wanted to get a Classic before they're impossible to find, since they're discontinued.

Damn this thing is beautiful. It'll probably be in my hands in less than a month,if all goes well.

Here's a stock photo.

You gotta be kidding me! I just ordered my first sebenza yesteday. African Blackwood. Only I ordered the 21 instead of Classic. Cheers!

Congrats on picking out your first Sebenza. Just hope you realize that it will not be your last.:)

Congratulations... nice choice. I'm starting to carry my Classics more now... used to carry just regulars, but the Classic is kinda growing on me.

I've got a small Desert Ironwood 21 inbound. It'll be my 9th Seb but my first wood inlay.

JTR, one of my Sigs gave birth to a bouncing large Classic with African blackwood a couple years ago.

Here's a proud father and son photo of the two of them together at the hospital. :D

RWS,That's a great pic:thumbup:

They really look like they're related:D

[on a side note]- Do you guys/gals think $4XX.00 (shipping included) is a good price for this one?

I think that is the normal cost of one, and with the gold accents it looks really nice.

Great choice too

I look forward to seeing "real" pics of it when it comes in.

JTR357, That is gorgeous. I just got my first seb, well second, but thats a whole different story. I myself like the Classic design like you much better. It just fits my hands perfectly. I hope you can get it soon.

I also wanted to say, good work on the saving thing. They are expensive, but you are going about it in a good way, saving slowly and not putting it on your credit card. It will just be that much sweeter when you get it.

another +1 on that! One of my goals of 2009 is to get out of debt completely. The good news is I'm almost there.I used to charge knives all the time. Not anymore, unless it's a sprint run/limited edition, that may be a good investment.

I've NEVER spent this much on a knife before.I don't care.I'm tired of just hearing how sweet CR knives are.I need to find out for myself!
