The new native with CPM 440V costs about $43 plus shipping at www.discountknives.com and also at www.mjsknives.com. I've dealt with both gentlemen and they are both prompt and super to deal with.
You said you like combo edge - well, if that's what you want......
Personally, I like plain edge or serrated. Combo edges just don't do it for me. I have the plain edge Native.
Enjoy your Native. An excellent knife. Very ergonomic. Feels very comfortable in the hand.

Both are good. The serrations on the combo edge lightweight are on more than 50% of the blade so it functions like a fully serrated knife. The ratio on the stainless version is different though.

You might as well go with the serrated version. I generally like plain edge more, but serrations seem well suited to the Native. Plus, I like the fact that the Native's serrations are relatively shallow and stop before reaching the point.
Go for the Zytel in a plain edged blade. You can't beat 440V and, unless you need the serrations for cutting rope, carpet, or PVC pipe, don't bother. They are an aever loving pain in the neck whose only appeal is to the kids on the street, as far as I can see.
Fuller said it. I just don't see much need for a serrated blade. I had a serrated Delica once upon a time which I sent back to Spyderco to change the blade-- which the post office promptly lost (Found out later when I called that Spyderco can't or won't do that). That makes two Delicas that have gone bye bye...
I have the zytel Native and have no complaints. Get the zytel plain edge.
