From end to end that is fantastic. The ivory is as good as any I have seen on anyones bowie.

The Blade is 11" x 2". The knife 15.875" overall

W2 with Twist Damascus fittings.

A magnificent piece of Elephant Ivory provides the icing for the cake.
 
The Ivory taper was purchaced at a Guild show in the early
70's. It's been stored since then, and occasionally pondered
over, until Peter and I started talking about this project.

The back side of the ivory is yellowed, with a few checks and lighter
streaks, as though the tusk had laid on the ground for a year or two.

I'm glad we used it on this piece.
