Up for sale are two gently used slipjoints from my collection. All prices are Paypal ONLY (gift or add 3.5%) shipped CONUS+2. First post here followed by a PM or email takes it.
First up is the Madison Barlow. I bought this in addition to a mammoth version, and funds are tight due to my knife spending, so this one hits the chopping block. I hate to see it go, I've been wanting an ivory for some time. Anyway.
Bought new from KSF right at release, and I don't think I've ever carried this one. I did some light sharpening when I first got it since the edge wasn't great, and it has only cut a few apples and some notebook paper. There is a slight patina from use, but nothing that can't be removed if you so desire. The blade is nearly immaculate, I can't see any scratches on it. There are some light swirls on the bolsters, but no actual scratches. The ivory is in flawless condition, and is beautifully figured and book-matched. Blade is very snappy but can easily be pinched open, and closes with authority. Flush in open and closed, a bit proud at half stop. Absolutely beautiful specimen of the Madison. Comes with baggie and original leather slip case.
$225 OBO
Next is the GEC Northfield #48 trapper. This is the cocobolo version, #4 of 25 with tube. Beautifully figured cocobolo, snappy springs on both blades. The clip blade is ever so slightly off center, but does not rub the liners. Springs are flush in open and closed position, slightly proud at half as you would expect with a GEC. Swirl marks on the bolsters, no deep scratches. Never carried outside of a leather slip, and it only ever cut apples and vegetables, with a bit of paper thrown into the mix. Heavy patina on the main blade, but I think it could be removed if you so desire. Light scratches on mostly the main blade from careless sharpening on my part, and the price reflects this.

Let me know if you have any questions, I will be by the computer tonight.
