Ivory slipjoint by Bruce Bump, MS

I love that blade! What a great looking knife!

I to am very fond of the blade shape.

You do it ALL Bruce, and very well at that.

Congrats, Roger.

Super clean, super tight looking. The blade is great. Love the shape, the clip is nice and sweeping, and the way Bruce integrated the nail notch into the flow is art.

At Blade, Kyle's first folder...now this #3 Bump folder...Roger, you are jammin'! Congrats

Thanks to all for your comments. As many have mentioned, the blade shape on this piece is really what first caught my attention. Lots of dimension and flow in a very small space. Thanks again Bruce.

Roger

PS - did I mention that this thing is scary sharp?

Just a great looking slip joint, Roger. Bruce makes it look like it was his 300th! I really like the whole design and just awesome ivory. Very nice addition.

As far as I'm concerned, that is a fantastic slipjoint. As with all of Bruce's knives, it is outstandingly well made, and it looks so darn good.

I have a feeling Bruce will be at the very top of the heap of slipjoint makers in no time at all , if that is # 3 , can you image the level of purfection in #25 ??

Nicely done Bruce.

And great pictures as well Roger.

I have pretty much done every kind of knife now and I gotta say I like making these slip joints about the best. They are so challenging that theres no dull momments. This one is my own design so I'm happy you guys like it. I've looked at a ton of factory models and used all the lines I liked from them into mine and this is what it turned out like. :)
Thanks guys!

It is a great knife Bruce and I think Roger communicated with you. I'm glad you were impressed with the photos. This time Roger used the Nikon 995 which is used by me on all my images. What I hope people learn from this is that a good camera even with only 3.4 megapixel and 9 years old will do wonderful images of knives. The very simple lighting setup again is used for all the images and Roger does a very nice job of presenting his knives for us all to enjoy and heck, even better for me, I get to see them all in person.

With Bruce's permission, here's a peek at #002 - currently in residence somewhere in Bruce's pocket:

+1 on the blade profile being superb, but I also really appreciate how he has incorporated the nail pull into the swedge - that takes it to the next level for me.

#002 is real nice but I like #003 even better. That's because of the blade profile and the mail nick.
