For some reason your knife with that cool scale makes me think of this 64 Thunderbird
Great Work

If someone wants to trade me the knife for that '64 T-bird, send me a PM :)

Otherwise, it's going to be a user for me!

In a week or so, you folks can expect to see another ivory G-10 here. This next time, the scale won't be flat, satin finished;)

You tease! I don't even have the first one yet and now you are going to make me want another one :)

I'm glad to see everyone approves of the ivory G-10. You don't see much of it but I think it looks great with the Ti.

Got it today Barry and it looks fantastic! Even better looking in person and in hand. Cuts the weight way down but still feels very strong. Here are a few snapshots I just took:

Thanks again for the awesome work and super fast turnaround

Very nice!
I got excited at the title expecting of a true Ivory Umnumzaan... but this one I would totally EDC.

Thanks for sharing

WOW, the more I look at this, the more I like it. Any you could copy the grooves also on the front scale like the Ti slab has ??

At this stage of the game, I do not own a mill. But you never know what the future holds..............;)

Nice work Barry!!

A person could hand file the grooves in, no? it would take a while though i imagine.

BH - fantastic work! Really a nice combo of materials.

Zephy5 - please let us know how the handle material holds up to normal use and how it affects the solid feel of a CRK folder.

Barry-

Not sure if this has been asked..Are you using a CNC to make these? If not, what tools do you use? (generally speaking) i.e. drill press, files, etc.
If you are not using a CNC, your skills and attention to detail are impressive to say the least! (not that using a CNC would be bad...just closer to what I understand) On both fronts, no matter the tools you use, you are an artisan!

I am not using a cnc, just basic woodworking tools. Thanks for your compliment on the detail. I guess that must come from my days as a luthier.
