Cold Steel has been doing the same thing at shows they attend for many many years. It is part of their identity and who they are. Knives are tools, no matter if the use is work, recreation, or SD. Cold Steel has never been accused of being PC, and I for one, am glad of that. Their products are designed by users for users, whatever that use may be, and at affordable price points. I have never understood how or why the whole "politically correct" concept ever came to be.

So was Boker displaying at the IWA show? How were they marketing these, as robust butter knives?

Those double edged jobbies made by all the other manufacturers were clearly designed as letter openers (nudge nudge wink wink). ;):D

with the typical factory edges on those bokers, yep butter knives.:)

Thanks for the vid, Pizis. I grabbed a pic of the SR1 spine. Looks nice and beefy!

Thanks for the screenshot! Wow that is huge! (And I mean that in a good way!) Even the clip seems beefy!

I have the 4" Recon 1, which I feel fills a similar segment to the SR1 in my collection, but it's still gonna be hard for me to not pull the trigger on the SR1...
