Good Afternoon,
This sheath style has ben through quite a few different versions and I think this is the most comfortable and versatile yet. I really like sheaths being ambidextrous so I decide to try the strap mount on both sides. Its low profile enough that you don't feel the mounting bar you are not using. Doing the leather belt strap this way gives the knife some flex IWB so unlike a metal clip it moves when you stand and sit. The Throat being full copper gives the sheath some grip on the blade. It feels like a kydex retention when its drawn.
I also finally figured out a really durable aged copper finish technique. I tried a lot of different stuff and found the forced oxidation from things like muriatic acid and liver of sulfur were superficial and came off way to easy. This new finish is very durable. It would take some serious effort with sand paper to get it to come off.
This blade is made from 5/32" AEBL ground to 400 grit and finished on an ultra fine scotch brite belt. Handle is burlap micarta with brass hardware
Price $325 , shipping is included to continental United States via USPS. Preferred payment is via paypal.
Blade Steel: 5/32" AEBL
Grind: Full Flat
Blade: 3 1/2"
Handle Material: Rosewood and copper
Overall Length: 8 5/8"
Sheath: Kydex with holes for a tek-lok
Weight: 3.8 ounces 6.35 ounces with the sheath
