This is by far the absolute best concealed carry method I have ever used!! I inquired about IWB carry and thanks and shout out to IZHMASH (he told me about Jeff Rainwalker Creations), he had an IWB made and showed me a pic. This was what I had been looking for!!! After a few emails with Jeff I placed my order.

Let me just say this- Jeff's leather work, and kydex work is amazing. Jeff, thank you for the amazing job on these sheaths. You made a grown man almost cry.

I will let the pictures do the talking (sorry for the crappy iPhone pics) these IWB setups, paired with comptac clips make a perfect combination. It doesn't print at all, and is super comfortable. I put them on my strong side 4-5 o clock, and it is out of sight and out of mind. But there if and when I need it. I had been into folders for so long because of their concealability but they are Vulnerable and not as solid as a Busse obviously. I tried the hinderers, etc but would rather be able to carry my busses any day over any folder if I can do that without scaring the "sheeple". This is finally a way for me to EDC my busses. I hate those huge rubber loops that are used as a classic IWB solution. These comptac clips are IT.

Left to right: MBC, SAR3, Cultie, Cabs, Meaner, B4.

Those are some really nice sheaths, Jeff does awesome work!

Jeff is one of the few who can work in kydex and leather and utilise both if need be to fulfill an "idea" ... he's a great guy too:thumbup:

Jeff is the man!! He did my first ever kydex sheath and I was blown away, he was also super helpfull while I asked a bunch of dumb questions.

They look like good quality by design. However, I'm curious how you sit? I IWB a Glock daily. Even with a G20 which is thick and bulky, it only rides 4-6" below the waistline. These look like they would be much more than that. Does it cause any issues?

Thanks

Well, you are correct. Yes and no. It depends on the angle you are sitting. If I am sitting in a chair and sitting up straight then I have to adjust it to 3 o clock. You cant see it when you move it that way even if sitting down. But then when it really shines is when you are walking standing doing everyday activities. That's why I kept it with the shorter knives, would be nice to be able to hide a BWM or BJ but, that would be excessive, ha!

Hmmmm.....Cool setup!

But it does pose the question "Is that a Busse in your pants or are you just happy to see me?"

:p:D

Thanks for the post! I have also been looking for something exactly like this. I still need to get my NMSFNO a kydex so this will be the guy I'll go to!

Do the paracord danglers tickle?

very nice sheaths... never even thought of IWB for a knife, hmmm... i think i like it.

No, they don't.. But you can always take it off. It was a nice touch to have. As for the clips, they are called comptac clips and they are spaced 1/2 inch I think, don't quote me but I lined it up with one of my kydex and it will work .

Personally I don't think the clips would be needed if you are dropping it in the front, it becomes more of a how small a busse it is and probably a taco style no tek lok.

Iwb for knife cary has been a classic way to carry even big blades for forever!

Trident777,

Until i discovered the joys of bussekin, i've only carried folders in the pocket and pistols IWB.

I did always wonder about a concealed "middle of the back" or "shoulder rig" for something big, like a CGFBM. But typically, concealed isn't a requirement out in the desert, with the big choppers ;)

Anyway, now ya have me thinking of something IWB for my scrapivore. Very flat and concealable.

Many traditional dagger and bowie sheaths were made with a raised button so you could tuck them in the pants, and they won't slide down.

You can conceal a pretty big bowie or dagger that way.

It also makes it very easy to take them on and off. No need to thread your belt through.

Here is one I made for my BAD. Sits pretty deep. Just the top of the handle and the clip shows.

The green handled knife is in a similar sheath, with a gun clip on the other side.

These can also be tucked into the waist band, but they sit pretty darned deep there.
I carry with sheaths in the front pocket, with a gun clip attached to the sheath. Works great for shorter blades. SS, BAD, GW, Meaner etc.
