IWB System for 110?

Am a firm believer in the "don't leave home without it" thought process for a good utility tool being handy.

For those days where I have to dress up like a grown up in a suit, a 110 sheath/pouch on the belt or a 110 in the pocket doesn't cut it (ha ha...get it..."cut it").

Does anyone know where I can get a IWB system for a 110?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Mike...
You might have called 'em something else on the street. It is a Inside Waist Band (IWB) sheath/holster.

Looking for one that a 110 will fit. It hast to accomodate the folder in the closed position...as you know best, it would be considered a CW if it is not in the closed/folded position.

Got a few small folders that fit in my pocket, but they fall short of the 110 series that I am so used to having with me constantly. Cleaning my nails, slicing SPAM, salami, poking pickles outta a jar at a church social, prying open paint cans (just kidding Chickentrax), cutting through an old tire bead, etc...just got used to Old Faithful 110.

So, I'm looking for a carry system that is concealed but stays within the bounds of the law here in Calif. Certainly wouldn't want to be considered an "outlaw". This would be for work where I have to wear slacks and sport coat, if not a full monkey suit.

Check out the Bianchi 10A sz1. It's an IWB pouch for a 1911 magazine. The 110 fits perfectly.

Goose,
I know just what you mean! I use my Buck Sirus for that purpose. It has a clip for carry inside the pocket, is tip-up configured so that you can pull it out of your pocket, activate the assist mechanism and have it ready to go, all in a manner of a couple of seconds. It's something that you can't do with the standard tip-down clip carry knives. You should really check it out. ;)

Goose,,,

If you are thinking about buying a Sirus, drop me an email first.

Is the words of Homer..."DOH!!!!".
Ya know Yoda, I mean "Mike", that is a great idea. $20 more than a pouch then I get a knife I have been thinking about anyway. AND, the clip is at the correct side like ya said. That is one thing I didn't like about my Onion.

Why do you prefer a Sirus Vs. Tempest?

Thanks!
Goose.

Just for a little comparison, here is a Sirus up against a 172, a 110, and a 112
sorry, don't have a tempest or rush to stick in there.

Thanks Pack Rat! I may take you up on that. I like the skeleton body of the Tempest, but I don't think the Sirus weighs in at much more...

Goose,
I prefer the sirus over the rush because its larger. The added weight had no effect on my decision.

Thanks Mike...
Check for a Sirus is "in the mail" thanks to "PACK RAT"!!! :)
I'll report back on the findings of this being IWB and overall.

There's a tear in my beer 'cause my Buck Sirus is here.
Tears of joy as it sits all comfy IWB :)
Thanks for the tip Mike and special thanks to the rodent that packs!

Goose crackes me up!! :D

Hope you like it! Did you notice how tight it seems versus how loose some of the other have talked about? Maybe I just never flicked it enough to loosen it...

Did ya see the Boss Man's etch? Kinda hard to see if just glancing at it.

AND, I am surprised no one commented about that teaser 110 I threw up in the pic (above) as a comparison. :)

Now that you mention it I did "see" it but I've been going back and forth, working on several projects and the dogs needed to do their thing:rolleyes:
.
So tell us about it...no pins...just the rocker rivet...come on now...

Hey Pack Rat...
Yes, it was tight...but I turned back the torx head a bit and it's quicker. BUT, when you do that then the safety cam system gets looser. So I have to find a balance.
Think Mike went through this too (?).
It's a gas and I am enjoying it :)

Yes also to seeing the CJ signature. VERY COOL

Yeah, what's up with that 110? Didn't notice it the first time? Wuz up?

Thanks again

That's probably why the closing bid is so low. Looks like Tom is about to score another early 110!

This one looks more like a third version to me......

You're absolutely right. The spacer integral to the bolster being the give away. I consider that an "early" 110. (at least it's the earliest one I have in my collection.) :(
