As you can see, the pictures are blurry but the knife is represented as "NEW."
When I got it, there was a scratch - a sizable one, on the coating of the blade. This was obviously a return or something of the sort.
After bringing the blurry photo and the mar on the blade to his attention, we agreed that because I like Spyderco knives and because he seems to get them to sell, he would "work something out for me" on the next purchase. I gave him a list of models I was interested in and he said he would hook me up. Well, needless to say, I heard nothing back and when I started to monitor his posts and see that some of the models he was offering for sale were models I would be interested in purchasing, that's when I got a response lecture about how knives are supposed to be used and not kept as collector's items or some such BS.
I see that now he is banned but do not know about the circumstances. This great place is better off without him.
