And I cant find any pictures of Izula in 440c . If you find or have one please post it below!

So whats the deal?I seen they came out with bright neon green blades and a couple new knives but not the esee-4 stainless.Whats up?

Why not just get an Entrek? Same thing as the ESEE basically, good steel, good blades, similar price.

The website says these will be available summer 2013.

Hey it's summer 2013 :)

So......

They came out with the prototype 3 years ago. Their production and r&d testing are so slow.

I agree about getting an Entrek while you wait. I have used
a Bravo extensively and really like it. The Javalina may suit you also. Good, solid knives made of properly treated 440c.

Well, the gouge in early 2010 was the new Izula Folder...it's been over three years now, with quarterly announcements ever since that it will be released soon. If the stainless Izula follows that new product path, I'm guessing around the 1st quarter of 2017; but then again, that just might be for the folder....WTF knows really.

I am surprised by the lack of feedback, they make an announcement and then nothing. Very disappointing.

if they could do 440C, they could have done S30V, or another, more modern stainless. I'll not be buying.

I spoke with them about these knives at Blade Show. They had some equipment issues that slowed things down but said they are still on target for some time this summer. Might be the end of the summer, but hopefully still summer!

That's good to know :)

I'd love a nice 440C stonewashed Izula II

They could have done S30V or another steel but, honestly, look what ESEE pulls off with 1095 which is an older steel that still performs extremely well. 440C with a good heat treat is no slouch either and I have a feeling that ESEE will do an excellent job with it, as they have done with anything else they've put out.

I will probably still buy one because I love my 1095 Izula, but I just bought a BK24 to hold me over. So far so good with the D2 here on the wet coast.

Good to hear. We plan to test one out next week while spending time on the Chesapeake Bay!
