Izula and EsKaBar comparison pics!

I love the look of the blade; but I too wish the handle was just a little bit bigger proportionately. The Izula handle is just a little short for me to have much dexterity with it.

These are questions for the folks at KaBar but....... Made in the same place as all the Becker knives, 1095 for the steel and they fit right into the standard Becker Necker sheath. I assume with some sort of special logo.

mmmm that means made in my backyard...I should sneak over there and get one when it's still warm off the line...

This thread is funny

I know me and one other person requested a slightly bigger Izula and everybody said it was a bad idea and that the Izula is fine the way it is.

Then the Eskabar comes along and all the sudden every one wants one!

I am going to have to +1 that. Let me see if i recall the tone.....
I wouldn't change a thing
over and over for about 3-4 pages if i recall correctly. :D

I like the knife. Not just because it's a cool little knife but there is some history behind it and it's made by some of the best people in the industry. I'm telling you, you don't find any finer folks in this industry than Ethan (damn I hated to say that :D ), Paul, John and the rest at KaBar. First class folks and we support them 100 percent.

Jeff's right, I have NEVER had a KaBar product (of the 8-9 I've had over the last few years) I wasn't 150% happy with. For the money, their products are the best in design, material quality, fit and finish in the industry, and for the size of their product line and the vast amount of knives they produce that's really saying something. For the engraving I'd put ESEE on one side of the ricasso and Becker on the other, and leave the rest clean and naked. Man would that be a sexy blade.

Amen, brother. If only Ethan was as pretty as me then they would have something!

True, but we love Ethan and Ka-Bar. They have been good friends of the company for a long time and make a hell of a product in the Becker line.

Ethan is a truly great guy and I'm proud to call him a friend. Same goes for Paul (screen name tooj), lead engineer for Ka-Bar. Both are class acts all the way.

Without a doubt both are great guys, I've talked to Ethan several times and I spent some time talking steel types and histories with Him and Tooj at Blade. I have always enjoyed the conversations I've had with him very much.

After what all I've put the BK-7 through I have nothing but good things to say about BK&T and 1095CV. I'll definitely be getting one of these when they come out.

Yeah maybe you should make him a line of ESEE hair products to beautify his beard with. Maybe then he'd have a fighting chance...
OR challange him to a PR-Jeff-RYP tequila tournament-A few of those and he's bound to catch up in the looks department.

The only reason I will take a picture with Ethan is to make him look better :D

I don't think that will help, the stark contrast in picturesque differences would only serve to accentuate just how horrendous his personal appearance is ;) Greenpeace did this to me yesterday, three angelic hippie chicks from Portland came up to me with an elephant and a gay guy to try to get my credit card number. You have to throw in stark opposites to get the full affect, people only appreciate just how good one looks when they're side by side with an ogre.
