the molle lock is eh on a belt. you can do it, but its def not the best way. especially if you have a leather belt, it has a hard time closing sometime. id get a teklok, i need to pick one up as well
 
Get a big can of pepper spray. The Izula ia nice but are you going to really slice someone? If not they may take it and slice you.If you have no fear the Izula will slice and dice anyone up in a few seconds. I say that because I grew up in the hood and seen plenty of weapons used against the owner.

Well, I was planning on having both. I was thinking that if someone came up from behind me, pepper spray isnt going to help me there. With the izula on my belt, I can yank it out, surprise them with a knife in the leg, and run. I also can use the izula for other stuff as well.

this is the same thinking I put into my gun carry, I carry 2 guns, 1 is a glock 17 the other is a nna 22lr, If I feel the threat requires the glock then so be it, but if I just want to get away I keep snake shot in the 22lr, the main thing to remember is this, once you pull a weapon, you better make sure it was needed to defend your life or the life you are left with may not be worth having after you go to court!

i worked with someone years ago who was a former gangbanger...he told me more than a few stories of how he could always take the knife of someone who pulled one on him...he wasn't trained, he was just fearless...he always told me it's easy to draw a knife, not so easy to actually use it against another human...
 
^^ exactly. To use a knife is a good weapon but you can't have any fear. Just like punching someone. Some ppl can't do it and just make the situation worst. Easier to hit someone with a ASP baton than to stab someone. But the Izula would be a quick pull out small killer knife to use imo.
