I was in the Colorado Rockies and was prying up some dead wood out of a fallen tree. The wood broke with a lot less pressure than I expected, and the knife went sailing into my arm.

It was a gusher, so I thought I cut an artery. Luckily I was with some guys who were in the ARMY for ten years and they got the situation under control.

No artery cut, buy I did sever a nerve. I've got a plastic surgeon appointment tomorrow to see if it can be reattached. I got four stitches out of it.

Here's the hole in my arm. I hit bone, too.

Good to hear it wasn't an artery! Hope all goes well at the surgeon :D
 
Indeed, it does look like an eye. Haven't been bitten by an Izula in 9 months :thumbup:

then you're seeing more then me, I just see an Izula and a mailbox...

is this a joke?? or was there really a picture removed..?
 
The picture has been cencored by the host I believe. Its 403 forbidden now.

Wow, Can't say i ever came close to doing something like that.
 
OUCH....thanks for posting, helps teach others to respect their knives and tools....hope the surgery is successful
