But no matter how you look at it is an art (great btw!) and I think it deserves a thank you from RAT people for complementing one of their design. I know you are moderator etc and I am going to get hammered for this post but I just don't care. Please, people, open your mind a bit. Here's the deal. I have fielded calls and emails all day about this. I wasn't jumping the poster I was basically telling everyone to read the whole damn post before assuming something. For example, I just hung up with Jeff Woods at BlueRidge Knives. He called wanting to know when we would be shipping this folder. Some of his customers read this post and called him wanting to get on the list to get it. So, I have no problem with the design. I think it's way cool and I do appreciate the time taken to do this. What I DO have a problem with is people who don't read the whole thread and jump to conclusions. This seems to be a real issue here on our forums. Just look at the design thread and you will see that very few people take the time to understand before they post.
 
Damn, this went downhill fast. Maybe best thing to do is just delete the thread and be done with it?
As far as carabiner\clip idea goes, i give all rights to RAT cutlery, do they choose to patent the thing or use it any way or shape at any time they wish so with no do credit to me.

Tomso, love your design. No need to delete this thread. I just wished more people would read a thread before jumping to conclusions.

Nah bro, I don't think this thread should be deleted at all! Maybe people will actually learn something from it. Just my 2 cents....

It seems I misunderstood your post and I apologize for it. I can understand your frustration now. Again apologies.
 
Leave this sheit up, i say f#ck tha man! :D (who ever the man is)
Put those skills to work and design something for the design a rat thread, If you can come up with a uber functional item and lay it out with the same quality im sure you would have a good chance at winning.

No problems, brother. The actual problem here is the poster was a victim of his own success! That's probably one of the nicest designs I have ever seen and it is done so well that most folks didn't realize it was simply a design and not a real knife. Do we want to produce this? You bet! But sadly, right now it's nothing more than a fairy tale.

I emailed Shon with a link to this thread and told him we wanted 2000 pieces ASAP. Of course now he's gonna start saying that I'm living in a fairy tale world :D

You know, the OP's subject for this thread should let people know that this was simply an idea....

Uh, no. Fortunately your mom was not hard to convince so I am spared any further embarrassment from having my OWN mother applying fake tanner to my ass.
