Izula folder price?

Haha, I didn't even see that you are in cali as well (I checked the first respondent but not you, the second). I guess an izula is pretty small so it would be okay. The embarrassing truth is that I don't have one yet but that will change soon enough. Still though, what if your shirt falls over it, seems like there is plenty of room to get in trouble. I work on a university campus, which probably wouldn't help things...lots of cops and sensitive people. I do spend a lot of time around the big civil structures construction labs though.

i have my methods, :D

Are you sayin' they may change the end of 2010:eek: and if so what would they change it to?;)

You know how things are when there are a few people working on a project. Sometimes things happen and there are delays. I'm just making sure no one comes crying to me if they get delayed.

and one for the denim jacket...

hahahahahahaha! the 80's called...............

just tryin' to be helpful.
you'll have to show this to Mrs S and see if she can wrangle you a volume discount, since you're her second (or third) favorite.
:D

2nd or 3rd!
im movin up in the world!

don't lie to the poor kid eric! lets protect his wee little heart!

me too...but I'll put my guess of street price at $120 with D2, and i just hope it doesn't end up higher. The D2 itself shouldn't really push the price up too much, despite the fact that there seem to be a lot of D2 folders that fetch high prices, since my outcast has approximately a pound of the stuff for well under $100. But the costs of designing and producing the sort of awesome folder that this guy should be, well, that could easily push it up. Still, I'm in for one no matter what. Seriously, I can't wait.

My guess is that you'll find out in the end of 2010. Which is subject to change.

I keep wondering if the "subject to change" means it may come earlier or come later than the "end of 2010."

The folder will dwarf the sales of all of ESEE's knives combined.

'subject to change' is a little euphemistic.. 'subject to delay' would be much more accurate. I don't think there has ever been a design/product project that has come in early in the history of the universe.

I'd assume that MSRP would be somewhere around $100. I could see them going for $60 or $70 street price.

iam just putting ten bucks away a month, buy the time their ready i'll have enough.
the waits killing me!!!!

It would all depend on what it costs Rowen to make them.I would guess about the same as a spyderco military maybe a bit more as I am sure they will not be making them in those numbers to start.
I will be all over one if the street price is 100.00-120.00 and they have bronze washers.

I want one so bad. I recently discoverd RAT/ESEE knives and cant stop buying them, so far I have 2 Izulas, RC-3, RC-4 and a H.E.S.T

I can't remember; is the metal scale steel or titanium? If it's titanium, I don't see the MSRP much under $200.

Boker does a great job of making frame lock knives in the sub 100 dollar range consistently. Lets be realistic, 1095 isn't a super rare high end blade steel. I wouldn't pay much over 75.00-85.00 street price on an Izula folder, no matter how much I wanted one.

Lets hope that whoever ends up making this, keeps the price within reason.

Actually it reminds me of the Boker Trance designed by Chad Los Banos. Either way whatever it costs doesn't matter to me that much, Im still going to order one when it hits the market.

It'll be my first RAT/ESEE! :D

you've got waaaayyyyy more patience than I do if you're willing to wait for the Izula Folder to get your first ESEE!! The addiction hit me a long time ago! :D

it'll be rowen making the folder, with D2. judging by the prices of the rest of the line, i'd expect the price to be fairly reasonable.
