Izula Folder vs. 3-Folder thought

Heck I will buy both. But if I had a choice of witch comes first I would choose the Izula folder. I have a RAT 1 folder from Ontario. It is the size of the ESEE 3. It is heavy. I carried it far a month and bought a SOG that was half the weight.

I think the esee 3 folder will be a bit higher quality then the rat 1. Also, you should just take the rat1 apart and drill some big holes in the liners.

What are the blade lengths on the two? I have been trying to find more info on either.. as I want an ESEE folder BAD, but there is so little info out there.

I believe the ESEE 3 Folder will be 3.5" (I could be wrong) and there are no specs released on the Izula folder. If they stay consistant with the Izula fixed it would be in the ball park of 2.8" Atleast that is what I am hoping for.

Nice! Thank you! I wonder when we will be hearing any future details. I hope this really happens.

I'm interested in either one, so for me it doesn't matter which one comes first. I'd rather wait until it's perfect instead of getting some half-ripe design though.

To tell the truth, I would feel let down if it will not be outstanding at least in terms of durability and easy maintenance with established tools, and if workmanship will not be on par with ESEE's fixed blade knives.

In the meantime, believe it or not, I already have some good folders to work with. ;)

I would rather see the Izula folder come out first. It's a better size for me,as an edc. They were talking about coming out with it first, about a year ago.But hey,the 3 would be great also.

i doubt anything made by Rowen will ever come out half-ripe. He is one of the best in the biz.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in no hurry either guys. I'm fine with whatever comes out and however long it takes.

I'm in a hurry ;)!

The Izula is too small for my taste; bring on the three. Spyderco has the Golden Colorado branch. They make great stuff. Maybe they could make it? Heck, Buck can make good stuff if they want to!

But really, whoever is chosen, I am sure it will be great.

Can't be worse than other folder launches as of late .

Given the most recent folding fiasco, I think that collaborating with a larger company that can hit deadlines and bring the product to the table as planned, is crucial. I'd 2nd Spyderco or Zero Tolerance.

I know they tried getting in contact with Spyderco but didn't receive a response. ZT would be great, as would Buck if ZT fell through.
