Izula-II: Did Yours Arrive Yet?

Not to sound like a "smart a@@", but you are getting a "fish eye effect" in those shots. They are shot on an angle and each knife is appearing in a "different plane".

Shoot straight down on them or either have them on an angled surface and shoot straight at them.

Problem will be solved. :) :thumbup:
 
Mine is here! damn this thing is nice. When you see the pics, the length doesn't look drastically longer (and it's not), but it makes a huge difference. What a comfortable knife. Good job ESEE. Also, I think this might be the sharpest knife from the factory I've received.

Got mine today. With an XL paw, this handle fits my hand perfectly. Better then I expected, thanks team.

Now to be patient for the Pink Izula II.
 
Mine showed up today as well. I'm amazed at how comfortable it is in my hand. That extra little bit of length and the full scales make it a joy to hold. ESEE really got this update just right.
 
Dangit you guys.. you are all making it very hard for me to wait til christmas for mine. Lots of dealers are are sold out already. I hope Dale gets more back in soon.

How's it carrying? I love being able to drop my Izula in my pants pocket or cargo shorts...

Ditto. Same here. Its in my pocket and I can't tell. I was playin with it last night, (I think its the sharpest edge from ESEE EVER!! I don't know how?) But Jezz it just cut & cuts ++++ The handle/grip is 1st rate, it fits in the hand like a glove, and even while small, it seems like alot of levarage for a small blade. This was Very well thought out. A+ in this design. :thumbup::thumbup: Enjoy edgy :thumbup:
 
Seeing all these pictures, the Izula II is really starting to grow on me....

And I only have two so far...... I mean, of the original.
 
Tried to resist, but it's futile. Just ordered my Izzy-2 from Dale at TKC. If his track record is consistent, it should be here by Saturday if I'm lucky. Probably Monday though with Veteran's Day tomorrow. Either way, I look forward to it.

I really like my regular Izula, but I've got to get my hands on this one. Looks like a really awesome little knife.

I said the same thing; it's definitely the sharpest knife I've gotten from them.
 
Mine showed up today. Very impressive and very pleased.

I've also got the regular Izula with scales, so here's a quick take on the two.

In the hand, the Izula-II feels better without question. It's amazing what a difference just a extra half inch on the handle and the full scales make. Arrived very sharp, just like all my ESEE's have.

I've normally carried my regular Izula in my front pocket as my EDC knife. I've had the Izzy-II in my pocket now for a couple hours and there's no appreciable difference really. Doesn't feel any heavier, doesn't feel any bulkier. Don't notice it there anymore than I did the regular Izzy. The big difference is when I reach into my pocket to grab it. The full scales and extra length make a big difference getting a good grip on it quickly for sure.

I've got pretty big hands, so this feels much better to me. Going to give it a go as my EDC for the next few days and see if anything plays out different with it. I seriously doubt it will. Much better design overall compared to the Izula-1 I think. Especially if you have larger hands. Smaller handed users should feel comfortable with either honestly.

Question becomes now what to do with my Izzy-1 since the Izzy-2 is likely going to replace it for EDC duty?

Another great design from ESEE. Wasn't sure I'd like it, or that the changes were needed. I was very wrong on both counts. This design is a winner for sure. The Izula 1&2 are both great designs and you'll be served well by either.

But, if you're on the fence as to whether to get a Izula-II, take the plunge, you will be quite pleased.
