I had an Izula a few years ago, sold it to a friend. I decided to get an Izula ll, I understand they are a little bigger. I saw the complete kit on Amazon so I ordered it.
I like to carry inside the waistband and this knife is perfect. Should be here next week.

Very useful and very tough knives. They carry easily in a variety of ways. I keep a couple around along with a BK14. The OD green Izula 2 is my survival pack knife in the back of my car. It rides on the back of my Maxped Proteus bad with molle strips. I have a black one in a pocket sheath with a flashlight in a drawer of my bedside table. Surprising how often they come in handy after just sittin' there for a while.

Nice! I love my IzulaII. I rigged the stock sheath with paracord and carry it on my belt, or in a pocket slip. Great little worker.

One thing I've done with both my Izulas and my BK14 is to take a piece of bicycle inner tube and make a cover for the sheath. That way I can carry either of them horizontally on a belt on either side or behind my back. The rubber keeps the knife and sheath very secure and very close to your body.

I also have a couple of pieces of longer paracord that can be used on the sheaths to make a belt or belt loop attachment. That way, the sheath can be used for pocket carry. Just pull the knife and sheath out of your pocket and keep pulling on the knife. It'll pop out of the sheath and the sheath will still be attached to you by the paracord. Easy to find when you want to re-sheath the knife.

My Izula II is used for processing wild game meat; I plan to strip the blade so that it will cut smoother than it already does.

I bought a nice leather sheath for it from Charlie Cline for about $27. www.clineknives.com Nothing wrong with the ESEE kydex sheath; my knife just wanted leather pants. ;)

I'm interested in the Tek-Lok by Bladetech for my Izula ll. Is this a worthwhile option, if so what size, large or small?
I bought the complete kit so I'm going to carry IWB with it, but it's always nice to have options.
I suppose I could always buy a second Izula and have each one mounted IWB and crossdraw.

Mine helped me in the garden today. Rufio, Ganzo and Nelwyn chiped in as well. :)
