Just curious as to how most of you carry your Izula. Do you prefer it in your pocket or around your neck. What say you?

Pocket. I dont like things around my neck. If i get into a fight i dont want anything around my neck that my opponent can strangle me with.

around the house: neck in a custom kydex sheath

out and about: belt in a custom kydex sheath w/belt clip.

neck, at work and at home, everyday........I've also been edc'ing my esee-4 everyday also, I work in a factory so nobody cares.....but I like it.........

Belly button ring and a snaplink. For those truly dedicated to concealed carry.

*seriously = right front pocket using a clip i made of a measuring tape clip and some old micarta*

Its in my pocket. Cant imagine it can be comfy around the neck.
Havent tried belt carry, perhaps today.

I carry my Izulas in the pocket or in my backpack, for this Izula I´ve made a "low profile" leathersheath. It doesnt have any beltclip, its made to be as small as possible, the thickest part of the sheath is only 10mm with the knife mounted. The handlewrap is "knot-free" and done from the back to the front of the handle with the ends of the cord hidden inside the wrap, all to get as low profile as possible. Works great.

I keep mine in my right front pocket with the stock sheath. Even with the scales on it is quite comfortable. It stays standing upright in my pocket, even while walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and kneeling.

Pocket. I use that little watch pocket to be exact. I tried around the neck, but found out that little pocket works best for me. The handle stays exposed enough for easy draw, and it doesn't move around in there.

Interesting. Looks like the pocket is chosen by most so far. I agree with very cold steel, I have alot of stuff in my pockets so mine is on my neck. I like the fact that I can access the knife with either hand also. When I'm wearing pants or shorts with cargo pockets I'll sometimes drop it in there also.

I use both. When I am at my part time job (In the ER of a hospital) I have to wear scrubs so I wear the Izula around my neck around the house or when I work as a Paramedic I carry it in my back right pocket with a "dummy" cord around a belt loop. I always use a custom kydex sheath made by Double Barrel Kydex Works. (thanks Mike )

i pocket carry in the original sheath with an rc-3 clip plate attached during the work week. on weekends i neck carry in a KSF izula sharpshooter sheath over the shirt.

Right front pocket when in business casual attire and around the city. Neck when out camping/hiking/fishing, nice and accessible from a seated position (in a boat/canoe).

I haven't tried belt carry yet, but I'm tempted to try a horizontal carry at my front left, for a "cross draw" type position. Just procrastinating getting the Tech-Loc to securely carry it that way. Is there a specific size of tech-lok that will fit, or is it a generic item and can be adjusted because of the placement of the holes on the Izula sheath?
