Izula or Eskabar?

I would say the ESKabar. If you really want the micarta scales then you can get the izula scales and put those on the ESKabar.
 
I like the Izula better. More compact sheath , lighter for neck or pocket overall. The Izula is always a back-up blade for me , so I like it small. I'm always packing a bigger knife anyways. You really can't go wrong with either.
 
I think the Izula will be the better choice.

I do have one of the new Blackjack neckers coming today so I'm curoius as to how it compares. Very Izula-like, but a little better looking and in a great stainless steel. Best of all it is made by Bark River for Blackjack.
 
I love my Izula.I carry mine like a pocket knife,don't want a bigger knife for that.The original Izula for me is juuuust right!
