Izula or folder Izula?

Joe can I have your Izula then?

I'll trade it to you for a RC-3.

I've wrapped some paracord on the handle, but I think I'm going to try the new scales. That might make it more "workable" for myself.

(And I'm serious about the trade.)

:)

I love my Izula for edc. I don't think I'll ever go back to a folder unless I'm traveling or in serious sheeple country. Then my SAK Farmer is the ticket. No one gives that a second look. I'm with you on the scales though. I think it will give the knife a little extra zip. It will be more comfy to use I'm thinking.

The only RC3 I have got is one of the Rat Pack ones and you aren't getting that one. Nice try though.

Start with regular Izula. Consider folder after - with the current price of Izula you can not go wring with it.

I think there's an unwritten law that you have to have the original Izula before you can purchase the folder.

Not anymore

:D:D

I'd agree with everyone else and say go ahead with the fixed izula, then get its folding counterpart when it comes out. I don't carry mine much for various reasons, but it is a very, very nice knife and came extremely sharp.

OOooo... I may try that logic with my wife... I am in the same quandry (after just receiving my first RAT/ESEE... a -4) and really like the looks of the folder, but don't think I can wait that long :D

i carry the izula everywhere except work, no fixed blade's alowed. so thats where the
folder will come in to play for me. i just love the blade shape.

The Izula is now my favorite knife to carry, however, I think I would really like the folder when it comes out too. Nothing wrong with another RAT/ESEE :D

Get a RC-3.

I know that wasn't one of your choices, but I haven't found my Izula as useful as I was hoping it'd be.

I know I'm the only one, but for my use an RC-3 (or even RC-4) would work much better.

No sir, I found the same thing to be true in my case.

just got my Izula Saturday, so it'll be a while until I have a solid opnion about it. Was using it for food prep last night and it's not so good a slicing potatoes in half - it goes in only so far, then binds until they snap. Once they were halved, it sliced very well.
