Hope you didn't jinx yourself. I've been cut soo many times over the years that I keep a first-aid box that an EMT would be proud to use (of course, I have children and grandchildren and they are not as carefull as me).
 
If you need some paracord, I have yellow, black, red/white/blue, foliage green and a little orange. Let me know how much you want (within reason) and what color and I will try to fix you up.
I'll need a mailing addy also.

I bought a 500' roll years ago and I'm just about to run out... Handiest stuff to have around ever... The duct tape of cordage....

Yes, it's secure. But when it does pop out, and it will if you are trying to hold the sheath and knife together while pulling the cord tight, let's hope your hand and fingers are nowhere near the business end of the blade.

I got lucky. No tendon or nerve damage. Others not so much.

Oh, and this wasn't my first wrapping job. Sure all the others went without trouble. All it takes is once. My Izzy is wrapped and it will stay that way for a while.

At least until the stitches come out. :p

I have a ton of med stuff...way before I got into this knife stuff.
I'm sure I'm not the only one up in here that gets happy when they see bandages and stuff like that! :o

lol >_< as a matter of fact it didn't seem very sharp out of the box so when i got it i worked on it and gave it a steeper edge angle, should have waited to do that until AFTER i wrapped it....

I did a desert paracord wrap.
countycomm.com was $8.45 for 100'.
