Izula Pics

This is a great addition to the line. What I really like about the Izula is the removal of the choil. With the blade running up to the guard, the handle can be slightly smaller and still feel really secure in the hand. I like choils, but I like to have a choice at times. For a necker the additional space a choil takes doen't make sense in my mind. Very well designed Jeff. Look forward to getting one. :D

The Izula is probably going to end up being the top seller for RC. We already have a huge overseas interest in its release and we field emails and calls daily from all over the world wondering when it will be available.

The sheath that we (Shon, Mike and I) designed is probably the best small knife sheath I've seen to date. You can attach it with a neck lanyard, MOLLE lock, Tek-lok, paracord, lashing, etc. The MOLLE lock has about 45 degrees of adjustment so you can carry in between horizontal and vertical. The sheath is also symmetrical for for a reason: we're designing a quick-disconnect base plate option that will allow the user to click the sheath into a a base that remains attached to your gear. Being that it is symmetrical, it is fully ambidextrous for all the carry systems, including the base plate option that we won't be releasing until Blade Show. We also have another option we're working on that's cool as hell and never been done. Stay tuned, we're just getting started!

Does anywhere have a pre-order list for the Izula?
I need one of these, and the Fire Kit, and the E&E Kit, and the Kwik-Points, and the....
Hell, do you guys just want to garnish my wages, and just start sending me stuff?;)
Good stuff Jeff. I am really intrigued about the sheath options you were mentioning.
Thanks, Terry

Looks like another Christmas present to myself this year.

I'm really liking the looks of this knife. Can't wait to see the sheaths.

I'm thinking the same thing, I may add an RC-3 to my stocking as well...
Hey man, I believe Jeff posted a photo of the Izula sheath in an earlier thread , cant remember which one though..

The options and the thought going into the sheath sound truly awesome. Can't wait to see the proto pics. I can visualise a bit, but pics are always better. :D

This is taking way too long!!!! :D Damn, I will not resort to a BK11 cause I don't like the handle, but the Izula...so precious... Put me on a list for this lil' fella, I need a pink one just to prove my friends that the character of knife pretty much comes along with its color. A pink Izu is, of course, a good, well-mannered and peaceloving knife...;)

I am trying to be patient for the Izula, but might have to give in to the Swamp Rat Swamp Warden pretty quick. Hurry....please. My powers of procrastination are beginning to give out.

I'm getting impatient too but if I can no longer quell the innate urge to buy another knife, I'll order a RC-3 to hold me over. I have way too many empty spots in the MOLLE webbing that are just beggin' to be filled! :p

What would be the use of this knife if you already have a RC-4? It looks great and I think I want it now I just need to give myself a reason to buy it.

Its a necker, its more discreet, it has skeletonized handles, and it comes in pink:D

I plan to use it in my smaller bugout kits as a primary or as a backup to my RC-4.

Welll I am not sure of the $$ for the Izula but I do know that a SW is $100-130(used) on the exchange with out a sheath and the Izula atleast comes with a sheath and goodies...
