Ive had my izula since christmas. I honestly havnt used it that much thus it hasnt come out of its sheath too often other than the initial play I put it through. Lately it has been falling out of its sheath at random sometime without even a decent jolt. I am wearing it around my neck. Is there any way I can tighten the lock up or is a new sheath in my future?

Wow ,I never heard that before, are you sure you push it in far enough ? (snaps in kinda click like) I have used mine extensively an the sheath is holding up fine...
Did you alter anything,

Hmmmm.......

Could you possibly have some debris in the bottom of the sheath keeping the knife from fully seating in the sheath?

Mine locks up like a vault and thats with heavy use.

nope it clicks like all of my other Rats. I checked for debris the sheath is empty its in all the way, when i wrapped the handle months ago i wrapped it with the knife all the way in the sheath so as to be sure that it was locked up tight....?

Send me your mailing address and I will send you another sheath. Save your old sheath in case I need to get it back and look at it. To date we have had no problems with the Izula sheath. It was tested VERY hard before release. It may be one that somehow did not get fully molded in the lock up area or something but I won't know without looking at it. Mike

Same here.

Mine has been in my pocket and used everyday since I have had it.(One of the 1st batch) It still locks up as tight as it did the first day:thumbup:

Well there's your problem. It feels neglected and is popping its self out so you use her!

Once you show her more love, she'll stay put:thumbup:

I was just thinking maybe your cord wrap has slipped up slightly in use? and is now preventing the knife from going all the way into the sheath. I dunno just an idea

Hell yes. That, right there, is what it's all about, to me. That attitude, and personal touch, are what made me crave an RC blade. Admittedly, I've only got an Izula, currently, but next time I have enough spare change for one of those sweet looking RC 6's... I'll remedy that. :D:thumbup:

Mine clicks in tight no problems..

Are there two molded circular tabs just inside your sheath, like two "teeth" that grab either side of the knife when you sheath it? Maybe they were worn down, or not molded right:confused:

my izula came out of the sheath once, When I took it off my belt, i dropped it and when it hit the ground, the knife popped out and landed a few inches from my foot

It's no big deal though. I'm usually pretty careful.

I'm one of the lucky people who have never run into this problem, which is good considering my being the pioneer of taint carry. I would run the risk of having to fish one out of the toilet, or God forbid try to remember who's bed I was in last night. :D:D:D

Edit: The wife would kick me in the nuts for that last part. lol
