Izula sheath

I've seen pictures of the Izula sheath which has the slot open. When I received mine it had no open slot, is this something EZEE changed or do I have to cut it open myself?
 
Sounds like they must have changed it. I have owned probably 10 Izulas over the years, and they ALL came with the plastic sheath with the slot at the top and 2 holes on the bottom, and a large hole at the tip for neck carry. Now the last time I purchased an Izzie was about 3 years ago. Certainly there is someone here who has a new one that can add more.
