Izula strap

Sorry for offtopic but next time you should use a thread title instead of that...

Seems like a pretty impractical place to keep a knife.

I would suppose some type of velcro band attached to the sheath, don't think it would be very comfortable considering how hard the draw retention is vs. how tight the strap would need to be.

Nothing a little dremel bit can't fix

You could try to modify an ankle rig that they make for the TDI knife, but you could make something yourself using an elastic strap and velcro.

Although...the duct take idea has promise and works anywhere.

Duct tape is silly! If you are tromping through swamps it will loosen and you will lose your knife. Super glue is a much better answer.

:D

I'll bite..why do you want to carry an Izula near your ankle?

If your wearing boots and the knife is going over the boots then a sheath made out of rubber innertube works great.

Use duct tape! Dirty Harry had it right didn't he? Well.. he did use scotch tape for that switchblade.

Inless I tape it to my chest or shirt it will fly around when I run.[/QUOTE

There is a neck lanyard especially made and marketed for that problem that has a loop that goes around your chest, or you can just wear it inside a shirt or coat if you can stand it. I have an Izula around my neck all the time, heck I used to have a 3 hanging around my neck...but I am a huge TN redneck too.
