This unique, t-k-c exclusive Special Edition IZULA features a very important theme... our freedom.
The graphic exhibits two of our countrys most important symbols of freedom... the U. S. A. flag & the Statue of Liberty.
The color of this knife was custom mixed & is symbolic as well since it is the official color of blue that is used on our nations flag (Pantone Blue PMS 282).
You will also notice another very unique feature of this knife.. it has two serial numbers. One is the usual ESEE serial number & the other pertains exclusively to this special edition series. The special edition serial number bears special significance since it begins with 7/4/1776, the day that the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence which proclaimed the independence of the United States of America from Great Britain. The last three digits is the number of the knife.
A custom made ballistic nylon sheath is provided which displays the same graphic as is found on the knife blade. The sheath offers some unique features as well. The top cover flap will conceal the knife when the situation may warrent it or it can be removed so the knife handle is exposed. The inside of the cover flap has a pouch for keeping emergency things such as Band Aids, fire starting items or navigation information. There is a belt strap on the back for belt carry or lashing or you can remove the cover flap & carry it in your pocket. To use the sheath, just slip the plastic sheath into the ballistic nylon sheath and secure it with the included barrel nut and screw which is provided.

Where did the name IZULA come from? The locals in Peru call the meanest, nastiest ant of the jungle by the name "Isula" (spelled with an "s"). We know it as the Bullet Ant. The Bullet Ant is known to be independent, tough, light on its feet, and a real aggressive survivor... the IZULA knife is built the same way. This knife is designed to be the perfect lightweight survival kit or concealed carry knife.
