I have carried one that way yes. Weak side cross draw, the only reason I no longer carry it is I just find my 3 mil to be much more useful.

I have both, I much prefer the Izula, which I do belt carry on occasion.

I had a BK11 and sold it. I didn't care for anything about it. The handle was very uncomfortable, the blade was over-sized compared to the rest of the knife, and the bottle opened not only didn't work well, it made the uncomfortable handle even more uncomfortable. It was fun to mod though:
I have an Izula II and I really like it. The knife is much more comfortable to hold, it is thicker, and it has Esee's no questions asked warranty.

I cant really say anything about the bk11, but I can tell you one thing... If you cant afford every ESEE, dont buy one. Seriously you... want... them... all...
