Izula with handles!

don't on an izula, but never knew that you could get handles on them. Makes me like them a lot more and will probably will be purchasing one when the funds check out.

I received mine Saturday from KSF and they are Great...
I put them on my OD Green Izula as well

My handles finally came today from TKC. The handles feel awesome and fit great. I will try and get some pics after I finish studying.

needs to cover the whole handle IMO...

Well at least it ain't just me. I put a pair on one of my Izula's and they make it almost impossible for me to handle the knife without it slipping around. I can only get my thumb on one side and barely two fingers on the other. They should have made the full handle as some suggested.

I love my 2 Izulas (one is my EDC), RC-3 MIL and RC-4, so I think that entitles me to share my experience. :thumbdn:

I took a brown permanent marker to mine, if it didn't take I was gonna go get some dye, so if you don't like the color it can be altered. I will put up a better pic later, but this gives you an idea. I stripped mine too, I think it has a very WWII 1911 look to it.

I have one word for my upgraded Izula: Heaven! Huge home run with these.

This is now my do anything combo and its just perfect. I recently sold my Busse Game Warden because the Izula was getting grabbed every time.

Izula was always one of my favorite knives I owned, but now with the handles its easily in my top five.

Just curious - were the handles supposed to come with a hex key? Mine didn't...

My scales were waiting for me from KSF in saturday's mail. I don't know yet if I really like the feel more than the wrapped Izula. Visually and aesthetically, I much prefer the knife with the scales on. But by feel...I don't know for sure, but I might actually prefer the wrapped Izula. Haven't had a chance to use it much yet with the scales on, but it seems like the grip is more uniform over the length of the handle with the simple wrap. With the scales, it seems like you can only really grasp the knife with two fingers, and for some reason, my grip didn't feel as secure as it did with the wrapped handle.

A full set of scales with lanyard hole cut out might indeed have been better after all, but the jury's still out for me.

And no, they don't come with a hex tool. My leatherman wave and bit kit did the job though .

ETA: I worked on a spoon for a lil bit tonight, and the handles feel much better than they did on first impression. I can get a pretty good three finger grip on them, and they are feeling more comfortable.

Heres a set on a tan Izula.Makes the package in my opinion. Also a pic with
my bravo necker.I think the Izula is more comfortable in the hand.

Well, I just put scales on my Izula and actually think the Bravo necker is more comfy with scales. Oh well, I could get used to either of them. It will be a battle to see which one gets carried daily.
