Izzy2,BK11,Eskabar

I just got the Izula II and the Eskabar. I've long been using a stripped and convexed Busse Skeleton Warden as my main necker, so I'm not the best person to talk about in-use contrasts. However, despite it being Beckerhead blasphemy, I will say that the Izula II feels the best in hand out of the three above. I'm excited about getting out and trying it. I would rate the EsKabar (with Izula micarta) a close second and the regular BK-11 last. I have relatively large hands and the BK-11 with wrap just doesn't fill them up quite right. However, I am contemplating the available micarta scales for my Becker Necker.
 
Well i think im leaning towards the Eskabar because i dont mind the size of the izzy handle but would rather try the different design of the eskabar blade shape and overall function. Anyway i know one of these days i will spring for the izzy2 that just goes without saying, we have to feed the addiction...:D
 
I'm thinking Izzy2. Slightly longer handle but still the same Izula design. Since your dad likes your Izula I think the Izzy2 would be a good choice. Any of the three are good though.
 
I have both the Izula and the BK11. Both are nice knives, well built, with good sheaths. I alternate between both as my EDC and they are easily concealable under an un-tucked shirt.

I would have to say that the Izula "feels" better in my hand and has a slight edge (pun intended) in conceal-ability. That being said, I have recently decided to order a second Izula and relegate the BK11 to my truck bag.

As a side note, I have never considered ordering multiple copies of any knife before owning the Izula...
 
I have been EDC'n my Izula II every since it's release in a leather belt sheath and I have gone back to my Original Izula as my EDC due to the high rise of the leather sheath and the extended handle on the Izzy2 pokes my side,so I2 get tekloc to my back pack and Izzy goes back to belt carry edc'n

TTD, where did you get the leather sheath"s from? I think i wouldnt mind trying 1 of them out with my Izzy. Thanks, Ray.
 
Hell, my 3MIL rides higher than that...and has the glass breaker. You just have to build up a callous on your side. :D
