it was so much fun putting this together with J.D. that I've almost finished another sketch for him to be inspired by.
this thread was all about forging to shape, I wonder if for our next one we should concentrate on another specific aspect of bladesmithing?
 
Well crap, that is a classy knife, almost looks like a museum piece from another time, except brand new. It looks like a special "meate eating knife," for example, brought out at a special feaste. :D
