Up for sale is my really lovely J Doyle - Hunter with elegant lined sharkskin sheath by Claude Scott
and the perfect detailing that are John's signature flourishes.
I'm setting it free because it is too rarely the first knife I reach for when heading out. Needs a better home.

I am the original owner. It is lightly used with some blade patina and a few blemishes that I point out
with the photos. Not so used that a brief time with John for a spa treatment couldn't get it back to pristine.
Here are the Specs from John:
Hand forged from 1075 steel, clay quenched and etched
3 3/4" blade, 8 1/8" overall, .190" thick at the ricasso w/ full distal taper
Rounded spine and ricasso edge for comfort
Filed, rounded thumb grip
Damascus fluted collars with damascus coined spacer
Premium Curly Hard Maple handle, stained black and oil finished
Damascus Bolt cover
This is a through tang, bolted together with hidden pins through every piece. Extremely strong construction.
The Claude Scott Lined Sheath
Set up for left hip carry. This hangs slightly tipped forward - 20° or so - not a true vertical carry for easier draw.

HANDLE DETAIL - Photo shows a slight scratch near the the butt, otherwise the handle is perfect.

These 2 next photos shows John's exquisitely detailed hand work.

The damascus fluted collar - you can see the damascus "grain" in the flutes.

Blade Condition - The arrow in this photo points to a tiny rust spot. Also evident in the photo above but
no arrow and camera focus. Out in the field one day and did not sheath the knife perfectly dry.
Was hours before I could tend to it. This one is my souvenir.
The blade with hamon also has patina from normal use as seen in the photos.
It is VERY SHARP.

Asking - $ 580.00 delivered to your door. US sales.
Outside US sales are an option but email to discuss additional costs.
Will ship USPS insured priority mail. Pay Pal goods is best - protects you and me.
SAY - "I'll take it" here in thread and follow up PLEASE with - PM or email through links with my avatar above.
NO comments in the thread PLEASE. Questions, comments, offers - PLEASE contact through PM or email.
Thanks. Ray
