Good afternoon folks. I recently had an opportunity to work with another fantastic maker, Matt Gregory. We teamed up to produce a really nice hunting knife at my shop.

Several in progress pics and videos and some description can be seen in this thread:

This is a nice, comfortable hunting knife with lots of nice features. It is lightweight and durable. Just in time for hunting season.

Specs:
Hand forged from 1075 steel, clay quenched and etched to reveal a dramatic hamon
8" overall, 3 5/8" blade, .190" thick at the ricasso with full distal taper
Rounded spine and ricasso edge for comfort with rounded filed thumb grip
Black g-10 lightweight guard and fittings
Fileworked spacer
K&G stabilized Black Ash burl handle with file fullered butt end
Checkered black g-10 button covering the finial bolt

Price is $750 shipped to the US and includes a Claude Scott custom hand stitched and tooled, deer skin lined sheath and padded zipper case and microfiber towel. International buyers welcome but will pay actual shipping costs.

And here's a shop video of the finished knife:

Holy cow! Heaven is in the details!

Truly a special knife. Honored to have spent as much time working on it with my brother John.

Hoping this goes to a good home where it will be cherished the way it should be.

Shocked this is still here! Such a great piece and a heck of deal.

Must be the election has people nervous and holding on to their money. :D ;)
