We are calling it a humpback. Not a humpback jack, just a humpback.:) You can give it your own name if you'd like. The frame shape feels great in hand.
This particular knife is a bolsterless "shadow" style. It is nice & light & thin ,with front & back of frame nicely rounded. Sunk joint pivot end of blade in the closed position and the blade nests low in the frame. Madagascar Ebony covers are super high grade & perfect. SS inlaid & pinned shield. Pins,ss,so are the mill relieved liners. The blade & spring is Brad Vice Alabama Damascus,52100 & 15N20. Hollow ground thin, like a razor,is the spearpoint blade with crescent nail pull. Tight pivot, excellent fit & finish, and walk 'n' talk,5+ snappy pull.3-3/4" closed. Blade is 2-3/4" with 2.5" of cutting edge. Opens up to 6.5" . Outstanding knife all around from John  . Ships in a zipper padded storage case.

That's a really sweet design Vince. i like the way John has managed to sink the joint yet keep the edge of the blade nearly in line with the handle. Looks very easy on the pocket too:)
