Here is a 'Lanny's Clip" rendition by John. Custom handmade slipjoint folder, hafted in gorgeous mammoth ivory. The knife is 4-1/8" closed,7.25" open. It has a blade of 3-1/8" with 2-7/8" of cutting edge. Blade & spring are 52100 carbon. Hollow ground, crescent nail pull & a cut in swedge. SS liners are mill relieved. Inlaid & pinned ss shield. SS bolster has that nice beveled front seems to be a signature move by John these days I love it. Pull is a 5+to 6-ish smooth & snappy, can be pinched too.. Nice thin ,tight knife ,with fantastic fit & finish ,and , walk 'n' talk . Spring is flush in all half stop positions, blade centers closed.

I used to be just like that,'til I tried the 52100. Now I just go by the knife,if I like it,and steel choice I just accept.

Yeah, I'm just afraid it'll get in too bad a shape from lack of care lol. And, honestly, I'm not a huge fan of patina. I like Shiney lol
