Gang, found this knife in my dad's "bring back" stuff from WWII. Considering it was with his other WWII items I'm guessing that it is of that vintage.....but not sure at all. I intend to sell the knife but don't want to misrepresent what it is. Is there a way to determine the approximate time of it's origin. Also, I see something that looks like a signature that I outlined on one of the photos----is that likely to be the engraver's signature? Any info at all about the knife is appreciated. I'll see if I can figure out how to attach photos.

J. Martiini knives are still in production today. They make a fine knife.

Here's a link for some history about the company:

Uploading pictures here will help narrow down some information on your knife. I'd also send an email to the manufacturer. They might be able to give you better information than you'll find here. Some keep better records than others. There's also the war to consider...

Cool knives, great quality at a good price.
This one was bought around 30 ys ago (I was buying knives before I could buy beer). Blade is engraved.
I refurbished it recently, it was looking much older with a lot of patina on the handle elements.
