J. Marttiini knives...any thoughts/opinions?

i'm considering the purchase of the big game hunter, very reasonably priced and they appear to be of quality but i've never handled one.

anyone have any experience or opinions re: this brand (they are made in finland).

I handled a couple of their nicer knives a few years ago at AG Russell's showroom. I ended up choosing to not purchase a Marttiini knife that day, but the knives were really nice. Much higher quality than Mora, and at least on par with Helle and Karesuando.

I bet with a search of the Wilderness forum section you can find much more info on Marttiini.

I have had a half dozen or so of those knives. They are well worth the money. I used them for several years and never had any problems at all. Great USER knives.
