I don't think J.R. is "underrated" by those in the know! He IS a great guy and always a pleasure to chat with and "coonfinger" those awesome knives.

Maybe this kind of work will bring him from SLT to NLT

This is a cool knife! That steel looks so bold. I need to see the thing in person. I can't wait to get my fighter with similar ivory! Thats a cool picture buddy took. Jon, how does this knife look on display? Is it stand out?

Jon the knife is truly unique. It is a big, beefy Bowie and absolutely stands out. I primarily collect big knives and this one jumps right out at you. I really like this piece a whole lot. A testament to that is my 2nd order with JR placed within 24 hours of receiving this knife. From start to finish it was a fun project and JR certainly did not disappoint.
