Hi everyone. New to the forum. I have a question. I have a J Russel & Co "Rio Grande" pattern Bowie I picked up on EBay a little while back. 6" full tang blade, 10" OAL. Sambar Stag (?) scales with a brass shield on the left scale. Brass oval guard. Can't find any info on it searching the Web. Nice knife, well made. Anybody have any specifics or sources for it? I have photos but can't seem to put them in this post. Thanks
