For sale is a J.W. Smith SD-3 that I picked up directly from John at the ECCKS in 2012.
The S35VN blade is about 3.5" and perfectly centered. Overall about 8". The bolster is bead blasted titanium, and the handle is lightning strike carbon fiber. The fit and finish is just otherworldly. The lock-up is rock solid and early, but not too early and there is absolutley no play in any direction.
I had this knife professionally sharpened to a razor sharp mirror edge.
This blade has never been carried or used,and is 100% mint.
