J. Who???

Alright, alright! I ground them today (and yes I was up late Sun. night forging, normalizing & annealing instead of sleeping) and did the first hardening cycle. Before I started the heat treating, I did a quick etch. These things look cool! I reminds me of a cross between abstract & navajo paintings. I'll have finished blade pix up by this weekend. Thanks again.

I also normalized the blade Joe ground. I'm looking forward to finishing that, too.

yeah i can't wait to see that one from joe too. hey joe if you're reading this sometime when you can swing by georges you mind showing me how you get such a nice fit when you fit the scales on an integral like the one you're working on? i like it, but havent ever done scales with a curved bolster to go by... just the good ol 90s.
