Jack Crain Knife

I want to order a Knife from Jack Crain, the "Predator Machete", but I have seen some post on this site that suggest not doing this. I have two questions, One, Can anyone give me their opion on the quality of these knives? And Can anyone give me their opinion on whether or not to order this knife. I like the way the knife looks in the photos but I need to get a few opinions from some experts.
Please help, Anyone's advice would be appreciated.

I have never bought a knife from Jack Crain, but I do know that he has a bad reputation when it comes to delivering knives that have been paid for.

If you have not done so, do a search for Jack Crain in the Good, Bad & Ugly forum over in the Knife Exchange forums.

What Keith said. A movie replica was made, btw, and I think one was for sale (not by me). It may be your safest option. It's a great design, I'd thought about ordering one myself.
