For those of us who have realized the Jack Knife is the best pocketknife, please post your pictures!

For the purposes of this thread, a Jack Knife is defined as having two blades on the same end. One blade being the "main" blade and full length of the handle and a "secondary" blade being approximately half the size of the first. Please exclude Barlows, as they have their own thread haha.

From gunstocks to coffin jacks, let's see them all!

There was once a cult of the jack knife, I think. I haven't seen it pop up in sometime.

That was the Cult of the Texas Jack: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-the-peaNUTS-get-all-the-glory?highlight=cult

The thread has been dormant for quite a while. TedderX's knife in the first post is the exact same frame as the Texas Jack, so would fit in that thread, but this one is more about all jacks and not just the squared-bolster serpentine jack.

I'll contribute:

This is a Case 6235 1/2 Jack, which is essentially the same knife as their Barlow, but with two bolsters of normal size:

Also - Jack knives can be single bladed. If you just want a thread about 2-blade jack knives, that's fine, but you should edit the title.

Here's a group of jacks:

To avoid confusion to our newer members, I think it's worth noting that that Jack Knives can have a different form, either with a single blade, with two full-size blades, or with blades pivoting from both ends :thumbup: The classic Jack Knife described, however, is probably my favourite pattern :)

Here is one of my few jacks, a Tuna Valley gunstock.

Here's a couple that match the OP's criteria;

Next to Pen Knives, I'd have to say Jacks of one type or another nearly equal the Pens. One of my favorites was this Graef & Schmidt Barehead Jack in smooth bone covers. The knife was a blob of latex paint when I found it and barely recognizable as a knife at all.

Here's a picture from the other day. Jack's are my favorite! I really like them in the 3" size. My current carries are the Kabar 1026 and Case 62024 1/2.
